On 17 April 2018, UITP, UPC and AETHON hosted the first My-TRAC Stakeholders’ Workshop in Vienna. The workshop introduced and provided a comprehensive picture of My-TRAC project allowing participants to gain a good understanding of My-TRAC’s features and the time-plan of implementation.
The objective of the Stakeholders’ Workshop was to facilitate discussion between selected participants and experts responsible for railway operations and legal, regulatory & policy environment of the transport sector and academia. Participants had the opportunity to state their perspectives on which My-TRAC personal travel companion could enhance existing services and customers’ satisfaction, reduce systems costs and improve standardization.
The following goals were achieved through the workshop:
- To understand how the operators manage their data, especially from legal point of view;
- To receive feedback on how the operators are ready to interact with other operators and users;
- To consider the difficulties caused by interoperability both from the technical and legal perspectives.
